In this video, I delve into the remarkable story of Moses, particularly highlighting his role as a king in Ethiopia, a detail mentioned in the lost book of Jasher. I discuss how Moses gained military experience by serving in the army of King Kikianis of Ethiopia for nine years before ascending to the throne himself. This military background is what I believe equipped Moses with the necessary skills to lead the Israelites in their military campaigns after they left Egypt.
I also emphasize that Moses' lineage and characteristics challenge the traditional depictions we often see. I argue that he, like many Israelites, likely resembled the darker-skinned Egyptians and Ethiopians. To support this, I reference various scriptures, including Acts 21:38, where a Roman soldier mistakes Paul for an Egyptian, and Genesis 50:10-41, where Canaanites mistake the mourning Israelites for Egyptians. These scriptures serve to illustrate the shared physical traits and cultural connections.
